Wandering the US retail landscape in Southeast Massachusetts these last two days, it is hard to see any impact in local retailers of the current economic difficulties. The giant warehouse stores were packed, folks are still overweight and a view into trolley and gigantic flatbed moving carts sees a continued diet of hi-fat, hi-carb choices.
